Community groups, sporting clubs, bus tour operators are most welcome to come and experience all that Seppelt Great Western has to offer.
We have special group packages that can include lunch, dinner, tours and tastings. We can also provide drink packages to suit, including an open bar where guests can purchase their own drinks if this is a preferred option. We offer different meal options including morning and afternoon tea if you are looking for a lighter menu. Everything you need for a great time out!
Our dedicated and professional events team will demonstrate flexibility and creativity in planning what will be an extraordinary day for your group. The Events Manager will work closely with you to come up with an experience that will have you wanting to come back for more! If your group would like a weekend getaway, we can also work with you to book your accommodation. Our Events Manager can also make bookings on your behalf at other local businesses such as the Great Western Hotel, Salinger’s Restaurant and other wineries in the town that include Best’s Wines, Grampians Estate, ATR Wines & Miners Ridge.
Come and explore our lovely lawn areas that are scattered with picnic tables and enjoy a relaxing stroll through our native gardens to stretch your legs after an enjoyable meal and wine tasting.
Seppelt Great Western has many function spaces including our rustic Barrel Hall or our classic 1892 Cellar, accommodating from 20 to 200 guests.
Car parking is made easy, with plenty of space for cars and dedicated bus parking bays.

Where is Great Western?
Great Western is ideally located at the base of the Grampians National Park. The village is known as the “Wine and Food Village” and is the centre of the Grampians Wine Region, boasting multiple World Class wineries.
The township is located on the Western Highway between Melbourne and Adelaide. First settled in the 1840s by sheep graziers, Great Western is the focal point of one of Australia’s internationally renowned wine-growing regions and is also home to the Great Western Hotel and the award winning Salinger’s Restaurant.
