Pinot Noir 2014, Pinot Noir 2015, Pinot Noir 2017
These wines form part of Seppelt Wines prized Drumborg Vineyard Range, sourced from the mature, cool-climate Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard in South West Victorias Henty Region. Planted in 1964 by Karl Seppelt and swept by icy winds from the Southern Ocean, the Drumborg Vineyard is one of the Southern-most vineyards of mainland Australia. The Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Noir is an expression of purity and balance with each vintage in this pack displaying intensity of flavour and structure. The 2014 Drumborg Pinot Noir has a medium ruby hue, bright and translucent. The Pinot Noir fills your nose with a complexity of perfumed aromas of spiced cherry, raspberry, and a hint of smoked meats. On the palate it sits bright, allowing the amazing red berry fruits that are accompanied by subtle oak. Next is the 2015 Pinot Noir with a palate of sour cherries and red currants complemented by textured elements and fine, layered tannins with a backbone of spicy well-integrated oak. The last vintage is the Drumborg Pinot Noir 2017. This Pinot has distinct crimson edges with a stunning ruby red colour that is bright, clear, and translucent. The nose has a medium intensity with delicious red cherries, strawberries, and florals of rose petals aromas. The 2017 vintage has a fabulous mouthfeel seamless throughout the palate with a good balance of acidity and fine tannins.
Additionally, this pack includes a complimentary pass for two adults to the historic underground cellar tour as well as a complimentary pass for two adults for a premium wine tasting in the Seppelt Cellar Door. Tastings notes included for all wines listed.
