Best Cottage is a quaint and charming red brick cottage, built in the 1860’s on the magnificent grounds of Seppelt Winery in Great Western, Victoria, Australia. Surrounded by sweeping, lush manicured lawns, towering palm trees, an abundant cottage and native garden and of course, an extensive vineyard! This simple, cosy cottage was the home of the original winery founder - Joseph Best and his brother Henry. It is adjacent to the magnificent Vine lodge and has a kitchenette, with a toaster, microwave and kettle, but is not a cooking facility. BBQ and shared bathroom are provided.
Need a bit of extra space? The 4th bedroom is known as Maids Quarters and is a double bed on the other side of the courtyard. There is also a common laundry and wash-up room for guests.
Right next door is the infamous Seppelt Cellar Door where you can do a wine tasting, enjoy a cheese platter or even go on one of the historical Underground Cellar Tours.
